Michael Barney, a fun-loving soul from Albany, Georgia, was called to our heavenly home on June 27, 2025, after bravely battling illnesses. He attended Dougherty Comprehensive High School where he made friends easily and always had a smile on his face.
He leaves behind his beloved family Mrs. Belinda Brown (mother), Mr. Corey Brown(step-father), Mr. Ladale Barney (father), Ms. Yolanda S.(step-mother), Lyric Barney(sister), Shavez Brown (brother), A host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael will be remembered for his infectious laughter, love of music, and unwavering positivity. He had a knack for making everyone around him feel happy and welcomed. His kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many.
Although Michael's time with us was too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Michael Barney. You will be dearly missed.
