It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mercedes Gaines on March 10, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia, United States. She was born on the same day, marking a short yet impactful life.

Mercedes is survived by her father, Earl Gaines, and her mother, Christa Cheatham. Despite her young age, she brought immense joy and love to her family during her brief time on Earth.

Mercedes leave 3 brothers: Amani, Travon, and her Twin Earl Jr and 3 sister : Mabel, Denise and Tatiyanna, and also a hostess of Auntie, Uncles and Cousins.
