We regretfully announce the passing of Melody Thurston of Independence, MO on September 12, 2022.

Our mother and grandmother, Melody, was one of the most kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.  Melody was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Melody was predeceased by Kenneth Thurston, and Brandon Thurston. She is survived by Kenneth Thurston, Leslie Allison, Mathew Thurston, and Donald Thurston And the many grandchildren who will remember her fondly.
