On June 11, 2025, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Mellisa Anliker of Mediapolis, Iowa. Born on May 8, 1937, Mellisa lived a full and vibrant life, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.

Mellisa was a devoted mother to her three children, Dianna Moore, William Teager, and Jaden Anliker. She took great pride in their accomplishments and cherished the time spent with her beloved family.

Throughout her life, Mellisa found joy in the simple pleasures, particularly in her love for gardening. Her green thumb was evident in the bountiful blooms and lush landscapes she created.

Mellisa was a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 1948, and remained active in her community throughout her life. Her warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she may be gone, Mellisa's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Mellisa.
