It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melissa Prejean, born on July 27, 1967, in Lafayette, Louisiana, United States. She peacefully departed this life on October 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Melissa was the beloved daughter of Franklin Prejean and Linda Gail Prejean, and the devoted mother of Joshua Morris and Isiah Williams. She was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren.

Melissa attended Crenshaw High School, where she excelled academically and formed lifelong friendships. She cherished her time there and always spoke fondly of her school days.

Throughout her life, Melissa was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She faced every challenge with grace and strength, inspiring all who knew her.

Tragically, Melissa's battle with breast cancer came to an end, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
