Melissa Faye Godfrey, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Sanford, North Carolina. She was born on June 11, 1991, to Robert G. Oglesbee and Linda F. Oglesbee.

Melissa was married to Craig T Godfrey in 2009 and together they had two beautiful children, Helen and Craig Jr Godfrey. Melissa was a loving and devoted mother, wife, and friend to all who knew her.

She enjoyed hobbies such as camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. Melissa had a vibrant personality and a contagious laughter that could light up any room.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family will be receiving friends and family November, 23, 2024 at Life Springs Church in the youth building at 3pm. 3215 Keller-Andrews Rd, Sanford, NC, 27330. There will be no viewing due to her wishes to be cremated. This will be a Celebration of Life shared with memories.

The family has created a GoFundMe to help cover costs of services, and cremation. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
