We are saddened to announce the passing of Melissa Issac, who lit up the world with her infectious smile and kind heart. Melissa was born on February 8, 1967, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to proud parents Joseph and Catherine Wright.

Melissa married the love of her life, James Issac, in 2004, and together they raised a beautiful family. She leaves behind her beloved children Brittany, James Jr, Alexis, Montell, Chelsea, and Jakeem.

Melissa adored her three grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She attended Sumter High School and graduated in 1985 before going on to graduate from Morris College in 1989.

Throughout her life, Melissa had a passion for sports, especially volleyball, basketball, and track. She had a competitive spirit that inspired those around her.

While we mourn the loss of Melissa, we also celebrate the incredible impact she had on all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
