Melba Nelson, 85, of Victorville, California, passed on December 12, 2020. Melba was born on March 01, 1935. She was an amazing woman who gave all and asked for nothing in return. I have learned so much from Melba on how we should live and treat others. She felt that everyone deserved kindness and love regardless of what they have done. I may not have understood what she meant in the begginning but i understand now. It was the acts of love and kindness that make the difference. A smile could totally change someones day and it cost you nothing or even a small word of encouragement. Melba was such an amazing person who lived such an amazing life. She traveld all over the world and saw more then most of us will get to see. I had the honor of sharing many days listening to her amazing life stories and sharing many laughs with her about her adventures, boy did she have many. One of my fondost memories of Melba was that we went to go see this funny humorist Jeanne Robertson. This woman is so funny Melba laughed the entire time and I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I got to share this with her and she had the time of her life i will remember this day for the rest of my life. I know for certain we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Melbas love will leave and indelible imprint in our memories. We can find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared her love.
