Melanie Rae Posey, 33, of Inverness, FL, formerly of Charlotte, MI, passed away November 5, 2016. She was born on April 1, 1983 in Lansing, MI to James Mead and Lori Posey. Melanie was a Christian and loving mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ronald Mead and Sam Posey, grandmother Joanne Posey and her Aunt Nicole Stubbert. Melanie is survived by her parents, James (Michelle) Mead and Lori Radford; children Lily Anderson, Elisha Clark and Maci Clark; siblings, Tyler Radford, Nikki Mead and Mallery Mead; maternal grandmother Sandra Posey and paternal grandparents Dean and Virginia Houser; Uncles and Aunts, Jeff Posey, Lisa Ellis, David Mead, Janice (Chuck) McGowan and Mark Stubbert; nephew Landon Tate; cousins McKenna Stubbert and Kyle Ellis as well as many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Melanie will be dearly missed. She was always so open and accepting of anyone she came across and was a ready friend to all. A visitation will be held from 2PM until service time at 4PM on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
