May Aurthor, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 9, 2025, in Demopolis, Alabama. She was born on March 10, 1943, to Ralf Aurthor and Ann Walter.

In 1964, May married William Preicer, and together they built a loving family, raising four children: Mary-Ann Aurthor (Samual), John Aurthor, Edna Aurthor, and Gloria Aurthor (Harris). She was also a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

May was known for her warm heart, strong spirit, and dedication to her family and community. She found joy in simple pleasures—knitting, caring for the hometown cats, cutting grass, and working in her yard. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
