Maurice was the beloved husband of Cassandra James Blake and the proud father of four children. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and humor that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Maurice attended Auburn High School where he excelled in academics and made lifelong friendships. His love for fishing was evident in the countless weekends spent by the water, reeling in the biggest catch of the day.

His parents, Marcellus Blake and Loretta Nelson, raised Maurice with kindness and compassion, instilling in him the values that he carried throughout his life. His memory will live on through his children and grandchildren, who will always cherish the moments spent with their beloved father and grandfather.
