Maureen Ann O'NeillMay 13, 1958 - October 06, 2017Portland, OregonOn October, 6 2017, Maureen O'Neill passed away peacefully In Portland Oregon. Maureen was born on May 13, 1958 in Fresno, California. She grew up in Salinas and attended Sacred Heart School and Notre Dame High School. In 1976 she married Jon Moore of Castroville, California. Their son, Jason Moore was born in 1975.   During her life Maureen briefly lived in Colorado and Palm Desert, but she always considered Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula her home.   She enjoyed the ocean, gardening, listening to music and had a deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Kathryn Elizabeth O'Neill, her Father, Thomas John O'Neill and sister Lorette Claire O'Neill. She is survived by her son, Jason Moore and daughter-in-law Aurora Wood-Moore of Portland, Oregon, Brothers; Thomas O'Neill Jr. of LaJolla,, Raymond O'Neill of Encinitas, Charles O'Neill of Sonoma and Dennis O'Neill of Oakland; Sisters; Margaret O'Neill of Santa Rosa, Catherine O'Neill of Sonoma, Regina Cabatu of Salinas, Patricia Ito of Thousand Oaks, Lisa O'Neill-Murphy of San Jose and Elizabeth O'Neill of Atlanta. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the caregivers that nursed and ministered to her during her final months.   A Graveside Blessing will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA. 93907 Friday October 13, 2017 at 10:30 am. Funeral Arrangements by Struve and Laporte Funeral Home.Online condolences to www.struveandlaporte.com
