Mrs. Mauline Mote Pinson, 83, of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, following an extended illness.A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Whitmire and the Rev. Scott Sorrells will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.Mrs. Pinson was born on March 19, 1933, in Gainesville, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy White Mote. Mrs. Pinson was retired from Chicopee, where she worked as a spinner. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
