It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mattie Little, born on January 28, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Mattie peacefully left this world on August 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Mattie was the beloved daughter of Will and Maggie Simpson, and the devoted partner of Melvin Little. Together, they raised five children: William (Boogie) Buck, Brenda, Theresa Buck, Tonya Keith, Thomas (Jerome) Buck, and Melvin (Luke) Little Jr. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be cherished.

Throughout her life, Mattie worked tirelessly at Shrines Hospital, dedicating herself to helping others. She retired in 2025, leaving behind a lasting impact on all those she cared for.
