Matthias was born June 17th, 2003 in Brisbane, Queensland, to Aleksandra Elizabeth Petrovic and Kristopher Petrovic II. He spent the early years of his life interested in Archeology and Computers, and the ladder would be his main interest. He was a good student in school, joining the Swimming team, Tennis team, and Rugby team. His friends remember him as a positive face in the community who always brightened everyones day.

He is survived by his parents Aleksandra and Kristopher Petrovic of Brisbane, Queensland, brothers, Phillip Petrovic, Nicholas Petrovic, Edgar Petrovic.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto Clay Petrovic. and Katie Eugenia Petrovic.
