Matthew (Mattie) Brophy, 64, who resided in Green Brook, NJ, passed away peacefully at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Somerset on October 19, 2024. He was known for his infectious smile and brought joy to all who knew him. Matthew touched the lives of many through his years living at both Woodbridge Developmental Center and Green Brook Regional Center. Mattie's family has fond memories of visiting him throughout the years. He taught the family patience and acceptance of people with disabilities. Matthew's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him, as he leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. May he rest in eternal peace.
