Emily and my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Matt are with each of you residing in Brookside Community and the John Myra Stepp ancestral properties. I enjoyed Matt's company when I roamed the wilderness whether on foot or in my 'stump jumper' (the International Scout II ) that was like a tank. I’m a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like Matt, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. Our prayers are with you. 🙏🏽 ✝️ Keith & Emily + Chance

Barbara, Derose & Family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Cousin Matt will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
As you mourn, find solace picturing the generations gone before, parents, grandparents and relatives that Matt adored, guiding him to his rightful place among the ancestors. Their everlasting light surrounds him as he joins the unending circle of kinship, love and eternal peace.
Those we have cherished never truly leave us—but dwell on in our hearts.

Dear DeRose,
Mike and I send our warm condolences to you and Matt’s extended family. It’s been a while since I’ve seen our cousin Matt, but I looked forward to seeing him at our Stepp family reunions and at the restaurant where we had our reunion dinners on Sunday after church. I too remember that he was genuine and radiated warmth and kindness. We hope your memories of Matt bring you some measure of peace and comfort during this difficult time.
