It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maryellen Ciuffini on July 6, 2024, at the age of 88 in Joliet, Illinois. Maryellen was born on December 11, 1935, and was a beloved member of her community.

Maryellen was a loving mother to her four children: Rita Ciuffini (Fox) with spouse John Fox, Charles Ciuffini with spouse Brenda Ciuffini, Ernest Ciuffini with spouse Jackie Ciuffini, and Robert Ciuffini. She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

In her free time, Maryellen enjoyed crocheting and often donated her beautiful creations to those in need. She had a passion for helping others and volunteered at various homeless shelters throughout the city.

Maryellen's kind heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service. May she rest in peace.
