Maryann L. (Ortiz Espinosa) Meyette1923 - 2016Maryann has moved on to eternal life. Maryann (Lucille) Meyette, 84, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., passed away on July 24, 2016, at Plantation General Hospital, Plantation, Fla. Maryann was born on July 6, 1932, in Macdona, Tex. She was educated in the schools of Texas and employed with Ocean Printing Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Maryann was always quick-witted, sweet-natured, a woman who made sacrifices and she valued the importance of family. She loved her country-western music, loved by all who knew her and deeply devoted to her Christian faith. "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Rom 8:18. Survivors include her six children, Jack (Jodi) Espinosa, John Espinosa, Mary (Patrick) Hewitt, Mike (Kari) Espinosa, Margaret (Ramiro) Olivares and Sandy (Juan J.) Torres. She is further survived by her three sisters, Beatriz Tijerina, Leandra Garcia and Viola Barrera, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to carry her legacy of kindness, love, strength and devotion in her faith. Maryann was preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Espinosa, brothers, Lorenzo Ortiz, Johnny (Israel) Moreno, sisters, Justina Moreno, Vicky Cantu, and her cat Banner. Maryann later remarried Ray Meyette and he preceded her in death. A celebration of life and memories will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at Local 72, 3615 Washington, Rd., Kenosha, WI Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. 3 p.m. memorial will start at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow.
