Our merciful, God of Love and Light, and His angels came for our beautiful and beloved Mary Rosine Garcia on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015. Rosine lived her life centered around her family, her beloved son: Raul; his wife: Delia; and her cherished three beautiful grandchildren: Vicente, Ysabela, and Nieves.Rosine is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Daniel and Antonita Trujillo; and step-grandfather: John Gonzalo Tenorio; and her paternal grandparents: Manuel and Mela Garcia.Rosine was born on June 5, 1953. Rosine is survived by her loving parents: Albert and Josephine Garcia; brothers: Ronald Garcia (Karla), Randall Garcia (Annette); sisters: Ruth Flores and Renee Garcia; nieces: Kristina Garcia-Stack (Rob), Sandy Turchiaro (Michael), Regina Dunda (David), and Miranda Garcia; nephews: Justin Garcia, Jason Garcia (Solymar), Jeff Garcia, Christopher Menard (Johan), Joseph Castillo (Jonnica), James Castillo (Alyssa), Emilio Garcia and Andres Garcia; grandnephews: Mason and Preston Stack, Joaquin, Xavier,and Octavio Castillo; grandnieces Chelsea: Mireya and Auriella Dunda. Also surviving is her uncle: Fred Garcia (Lucy), and her aunt: Corine Marquez (Jose), several cousins, and special friend: Daniel Esparza. Rosine will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Rosine generously spread her goodness and kindness to others. She lived her life celebrating the lives of her family and never missed an opportunity to let each of us know she loved us.She loved the holidays, and always made special acknowledgments for each family member's birthdays. Rosine took great joy in giving to others. She loved animals, and her pets were very loyal to her. She was a talented pianist, and organ player, having played for church services as a youth. In community service, she served as a candy striper for Las Vegas Hospital. Rosine was a 1971 graduate of Robertson High School, and furthered her education at Luna Vocational Technical Institute and New Mexico Highlands University.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Parish. The Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church.
