Mary Needham ParkhillMarion: Mary Evelyn (Waters) Needham Parkhill, 95, passed away on Monday October 23, 2017 at the Kingston Residence of Marion.She was born on May 22, 1922 in Warsaw to John Milton and Margaret (Laughlin) Waters. She attended Keene and Warsaw High Schools, and graduated from Warsaw in 1941. She also attended Bliss Business College and worked as a secretary in personnel at Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric, as well as Hercules G. Lawrence and the Coshocton County Public Library. She married her husband of 48 years, Richard Earl Needham, on September 22, 1945, and after his passing, her second husband, Harold L. Parkhill, on February 14, 1996. He also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star Coshocton Chapter 157, and also a past member of the Junior Service Guild.Mary is survived by her son, R. Harlan Needham and wife Sandra K., her granddaughter, Tracy M (Broc) Detwiler, and great grandsons; Brody and Jaxon Detwiler, all of Caledonia, four step children, a brother-in-law, Bill Elliott, 6 nephews, and 3 nieces.In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by five sisters; Florence Singer, Mae Howell, Grace Henderson, Jean Mullet, and JoAnne Elliott, a brother, Paul Waters, her 3 day old infant son, three nephews, and a sister-in-law, Pauline Waters.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 27 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Pastor Ron Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
