Mary Menzer, 97Mary E. Menzer, 97, of Lone Tree, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Pioneer Park in Lone Tree. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Lone Tree Cemetery. . Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. A memorial fund had been established at the funeral home in memory of Mary. She was a 1937 graduate of Lone Tree High School. On August 20, 1939, Mary was united in marriage to Vernon Menzer in Lone Tree. She was a cook and a homemaker. Mary was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree.Mary will be dearly missed by her two sons, Robert Menzer and wife, Jenifor of Andover, Minnesota and Terry Menzer of Jacksonville, Florida; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vernon, two sons, Dennis and Ronald Menzer and three brothers and four sisters.
