(Gostinger) Lohr, age 72, of Port Huron Township, passed away on June 10, 2017, in McLaren Port Huron Hospital, after a long illness.She was born on May 22, 1945, in Port Huron, to the late John and Annella Gostinger.Mary married David C. Lohr on December 26, 1970, in Port Huron at the First United Methodist Church.She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a former employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the American Red Cross and the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. She was also a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan.Mary is survived by her husband, David Lohr of Port Huron Township, son and daughter-in-law, David (Rebecca) Lohr of Sterling Heights, daughter and son-in-law, Carla (Warren) Spalding of Laguna Niguel, California, 6 grandchildren, Morgan, Aleyna, Kyle, Brenna, Cole and Reagan, brother and sister-in-law, John (Linda) Gostinger of Port Huron, sister and brother-in-law, Frances (Gary) Fraser of Port Huron and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, June 16, 2017, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Reverend William Wright of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery.Visiting hours will be Thursday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday, 10:00am until the time of services at 11:00am in the funeral home.Pallbearers will be Douglas Fraser, Stephen Gostinger, Joe Urdzela, Joe Vargo, Ricardo Ramales and Mark Lohr.Memorial tributes may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the First United Methodist Church.To view the obituary and share memories, please visit www.jowettfuneraldirectors.com
