Mary “Jacquie” Swatzell, 92, born on October 19, 1931, in Alva, Kentucky, peacefully passed away at her home in Largo, Florida, on October 14, 2024. A devoted mother, wife, and homemaker, Jacquie took great joy in gardening and crocheting, dedicating her life to the love and happiness of her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Swatzell; her son, Daniel Swatzell; her parents, Zella and Ferdinand Collins; and her grandparents and siblings.

Jacquie is survived by her beautiful children: David (Andrea) Gambrel of Phoenix, AZ; Ken Gambrel of St. Petersburg, FL; Harold Gambrel of Lexington, OK; Brenda (Richard) Herzog of Gold Canyon, AZ; and Terry (Jory) Swatzell of Seminole, FL. She will be remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider planting a tree in her memory or making a donation to Hospice.
