YORK Mary Irene (Schmuck) Rauhauser passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Manor Care South. She was born on March 20, 1940, daughter of the late Harold and Emma (Oerman) Schmuck. Mary married Wayne L. Rauhauser on March 7, 1959. She was a loving devoted wife and mother whose life revolved around caring for her husband and children. In her later years she enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, shopping with her best friend, attending her church, and always looked forward to the York Fair. She is survived by her loving husband; three children, Julie (Rauhauser) Fisher of Pulaski, N.Y., Wayne Rauhauser, Jr. and his wife, Pamala of York New Salem, and Rebecca (Rauhauser) Eisengrein and her husband, Peter of Morrisville, Pa.; a sister, Anna (Schmuck) Leonard, and a brother, Samuel Schmuck, both of York; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dale; and her grandparents, Samuel and Mary (Copp) Schmuck. The viewing will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Stambaugh and the Rev. Craig Newton officicating.
