Mary Elaine (Bua) Andersen entered Heaven on Nov. 4, 2016 while at home in Citrus Heights, CA after a fierce battle with liver cancer. Elaine was born on June 17, 1945 in Mineola, NY, the youngest of four children and the daughter of Italian immigrants. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Don Andersen, her 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren as well as her 3 step-children, their 4 children and a great-grandchild. The viewing is Nov 14 from 4-7 PM at Lambert Funeral Home (400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville). Funeral services are Nov. 15 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church (7817 Old Auburn Rd. Citrus Heights). As the heart of the family, Elaine taught us all how to love, how to laugh, and how to pull off your favorite shade of lipstick at any age. She will be wildly missed but never forgotten, because some people you just can't forget.
