We are gathered here today to honor the life of Mary Moore, who graced this world with her presence on May 5, 2008, and departed from us on June 18, 2025. Mary resided in Springfield, leaving behind her sister LaTosha Moore.

Although Mary did not have any children of her own, she nurtured and mentored many young minds through her love for basketball. She dedicated countless hours to coaching and inspiring others to pursue their dreams on and off the court.

Mary's unwavering dedication to the sport of basketball was unmatched. She poured her heart and soul into every game, pushing herself and her teammates to be the best they could be. Her competitive spirit and love for the game were evident to all who had the privilege of watching her play.

Tragically, Mary's life was cut short by cancer, a battle she fought with courage and grace until the very end. Despite the challenges she faced, Mary remained steadfast in her resolve and continued to inspire those around her with her strength and resilience.

As we say our final goodbyes to Mary Moore, let us remember her as a shining example of dedication, passion, and love. May her spirit live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Rest in peace, Mary, you will be dearly missed.
