YORK Mary B. (Glenn) Kerry, 94, of Broadmore Senior Living at York, and formerly of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully at Broadmore on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was the wife of the late Philip G. Kerry, Sr. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. John McCloskey OFM Cap, officiating. There will be no viewing. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is assisting with the arrangements. Mrs. Kerry was born on September 25, 1919, in Nantiglo, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Albert and Jennie Glenn. She graduated from Hallahan High School in Philadelphia and had been employed by Sears and Roebuck in the Philadelphia area for many years, where she was employed as one of the first female customer service managers. She was a member of the South Central York County Senior Citizens Center, New Freedom, and loved bowling and doing watercolor paintings, having received an award in State Competition. She leaves three children, Marianne Campbell and her husband, Alan of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., Phyllis K. Hildebrand and her husband, Larry of York, and Philip G. Kerry, Jr. and his wife, Leah of Midlothian, Va.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
