Ms. Mary Ann Wilson, 75, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Loskiel B. Beasley and Dorothy Stovall Beasley. She lived most of her life in the Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL area moving to the High Springs area in 1986; relocating to Lake City in 2004. She was an LPN for 25years and went back and became an RN; she also worked for several years at RMC in Lake Butler. She was known as the "Bingo Queen" who loved to fish and eat fish; she also loved to keep watch after her loving grandchildren; she was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her three sons: James Dowling of Winter Haven; Randy Dowling of Lake City and Paul Dowling of Lake City; two daughters: Lisa Tillman of High Springs and Carol Ann Charles of Slidell, LA; sister: Bobbie Jean Vining of Columbus, GA; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday evening June 27, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services for Ms. Wilson will be conducted on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 3 P.M. in Lake View Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL (located at 3770 US 431, Phenix City Alabama).
