Mary Ann "Cookie" Nagy, 70, of Montrose, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 11, 2014. She was born on May 30, 1944 in Throop, to the late Peter E. and Elizabeth Anna (Ballog) Nagy.She is survived by her aunt, uncle, cousins and her special companion cat, Malachi.Cookie moved to Buffalo, N.Y., after high school and worked at Ford Motor Company. She moved back to the area to care for her father. She had a green thumb for gardening and loved to take care of the lawn. A graveside service was held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the St. Augustine Cemetery, Brackney, with Father Casimir Stanis officiating.
