BORIEMary Agnes “Muncie”Mary Agnes Borie, 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Genacross Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born on June 23, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Mary (Jusko) Borie. Mary worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance until she retired. In her retirement she was a Book Keeper at Lucas County Auto Title. She enjoyed reading and loved to travel, most memorably to Hungary. Mary was active in the Birmingham and East Toledo communities using her talents as a cook at various churches and special events. She was a light in many lives and will be dearly missed.Mary is survived by her sister, Jo Ann (Donald) Singlar; nephew, Alan (Regina) Singlar; nieces, Deanna (David) Routson and Renee (Jeff) Webb; great-nieces and nephews, Kaitlin, Travis and Espen Singlar, Maddie and Corey Routson and Turner and Justine Webb; as well as many other family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.Arrangements have been entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Epiphany of the Lord Parish St. Stephen Church, 1880 Genesee St., Toledo on Wednesday November 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. Her family will greet guests one hour before the service.
