Mary Abernathy, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in Lawrenceville, GA, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on March 4, 1947, in Homerville, GA, Mary was the daughter of Bill and Mary (Dade) Bullard, who instilled in her the values of kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Mary's life was a tapestry of vibrant colors, woven with threads of family, friendship, and a love for fashion. Her sense of style was unmatched, and she had an innate ability to make those around her feel comfortable and valued. Those who knew Mary will remember her for her warmth and the precious time she devoted to her family and friends. She had an extraordinary ability to light up a room with her smile and infectious laughter.

She is survived by her loving children: Scott Sherard, Shelby Stone, and Ernest Abernathy Jr., who carry forward her legacy of love and family values. Her grandchildren, Madison, Regan, and Joshua Sherard, as well as Ava and Will Stone, were the light of her life, bringing her immense joy and pride.
