Mary “Susan” Gano (aka GiGi) died unexpectedly in a car accident on July 1, 2024, at the age of 79 in Odessa, TX.
Susan was born on February 11, 1945 in Seminole, Oklahoma to her parents Milton James Pettit, Jr and Mary Belle Locust. Susan attended Ganado Mission High School, graduated in 1963, then went on to further her studies at multiple colleges, and later got her registered nurse certificate. She had a passion for painting, drawing, making jewelry, sewing, and many various crafts. Family was everything to her, as she was a devout wife, mother, grandmother, and even more so, a great-grandma.
She is survived by her three children Kelli Hall (spouse Andrew Hall), Chris Gano (spouse Darlene Gano), and Eric Gano (spouse Mary Gano). Her Grandchildren: Kimberlee Crawford, Melissa Hanna, Alex Gano, Cheyna Hobbs, Quinn Montes, Katie Geiser, Sarah Lindstedt and Grace Lindstedt. Her beloved great-grandchildren: Kaybree Crawford, Braden Crawford, Addi Crawford, Jarrett Hanna, Emma Hanna, Blakely Holmes, Charleigh Holmes, Dravyn Hobbs, Everett Montes, Charlotte Montes, Tinsley Geiser, as well as her sister Phyllis Pettit Nassi.
She is preceded in death by (spouse) Larry D Gano, (brother) Carlisle Milton Pettit, (brother) David Alexandre Pettit and (parents) parents Milton James Pettit, Jr and Mary Belle Locust
