Mary Melinda Fields was born on March 28th, 1959. In 1977, she graduated from Brunswick High School. Following her graduation, she began working at Lucas Industries in New Jersey. Later, she relocated to North Carolina before returning to Brunswick County. Mary is survived by her mother, Naomi Fields, her brothers Otis Lee (Mildred), Jerry Avans, and her younger sister, Tina Washington. Additionally, she is mourned by her four closest friends: Joyce, Deloris, Christine, and Constance, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
