Mary "Lyanne" Chavez, 58, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away on July 15, 2023. Lyanne was never alone; she had many friends and was known for her welcoming nature. She cherished the company of others and never met a stranger. Lyanne had a special place in her heart for her dogs, RileyLooper and Elizabeth. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Lyanne is survived by her son Scotty Gross of Bonham, daughter Aleisha Monk and husband Ronnie of Gainesville, son Jarrett Lloyd and fiance' Jazmine of Sanger, sister Nicole Ellzy of Pilot Point, brother David Blanks of Navarre Beach, Florida and 2 grandsons, Bodhi and Wynston. Lyanne was preceded in death by her father, William Lyman Blanks of Dallas, Texas, and her mother, Nancy Hines of Carrollton, Texas. Lyanne had a passion for horses and enjoyed engaging in crafts and candle making as her hobbies. She found great joy in these activities. A balloon release in honor of Lyanne will take place on August 12th at 10:30 am at Lake Ray Roberts Dam/Spillway.
