Mr. Marshall Christman Kinsey, age 95, of Gainesville passed away on Nov. 3, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Straightway Baptist Church with interment to follow in Straightway Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Kastner, the Rev. Michael McIntyre, and the Rev. Grady White will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Kinsey was born on Oct. 29, 1921, in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Hershel Kinsey and Ester Smith Kinsey. He was retired owner and operator of Kinsey Enterprises and Cloth Shop and was a member of East View Baptist Church. Mr. Kinsey was also a member of Scottish Rite, the Stone Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, and the Eastern Star.
