Marlin D. Moon1937 ~ 2017Marlin D. Moon, 79, passed away on January 27, 2017 at his home in Midvale, Utah. He was born on December 25, 1937 in Vernal, Utah to Marion Lyman and Jenny Elizabeth Simper Moon. Marlin married Lorna Southam on August 20, 1956 in Vernal, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. Marlin was a great husband, dad and grandpa, and will be dearly missed.Survived by his wife, Lorna; children, Jeanette Moon, Marion (Susan) Moon and Glen (Pat) Moon; grandchildren, Dustin (Shaylee) Moon, Lauren (Tanner) Robertson, Cameron Moon and Dan (Cynthia) Moon; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Ora) Moon; sister, Carma (Jed) Burton; sister-in-law, Ann Moon. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lyman and Larry Moon.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah.
