Markle Clendenin, age 64, of Dowagiac, Michigan passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1960, to his loving parents Lloyd and Joyce Clendenin.

Markle is survived by his three children: Jamie (Clendenin) Dazell and spouse Andy Dazell of Niles, MI, Jody (Clendenin) Mefford of Carrollton, KY, and the late Jason Clendenin of Niles, MI. He was also a devoted grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Markle worked at the Niles Power Plant and retired in 2025. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time at the American Legion Post #43 of Niles.

Markle will be remembered for his kind heart, love for adventure, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Markle Clendenin on August 13,2024, at the American Legion Post #43 in Niles. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Markle.

Rest in peace, Markle. You will always be in our hearts.
