Mark Anthony Dean, 61, of Montego Bay, Jamaica, succumbed to lung cancer while surrounded by his family on October 20, 2017.

Mark is survived by his wife Pamela of 25 years; daughter, Monique (Bill) Smith; son, George (Julie) Dean; stepson, Joe (Cyndi) Michael's parents Walter and Jane Dean; brother, Robert (Bethany) Dean, sisters, Mary Dean and Jennifer Dean, and so many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Mark was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all.

Mark loved carpentry and worked as a general contractor for 30+ years until he was forced to stop due to his illness. He enjoyed playng and watching sports like football, baseball and basketball on the weekends. He also enjoyed cooking and reading. Mark was always there to help friends with carpentry projects or whatever else they needed him for.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at grace funeral chapels on Sunday, October 22. Funeral services for Mark will be at Antioch missionary baptist church of Miami gardens on Monday, October 23 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Mark will be laid to rest at the city of Miami cemetery in Miami, Fl.
