It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Longenecker, who was born on January 6, 1988, and peacefully left us on February 20, 2026. Mark resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.

He was the beloved son of Leroy and Arlean Longenecker. Surviving is his sister Kimberly Longenecker. Mark had no children but he cherished his family and friends dearly.

Mark dedicated his career to educating and guiding young minds as a teacher at Northern Lebanon High School. He was known for his passion for teaching and his commitment to helping his students succeed.

Outside of work, Mark enjoyed spending time in nature, particularly hiking through the beautiful landscapes of Pennsylvania. His love for the outdoors brought him peace and joy.

Mark's life was tragically cut short by cancer, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
