Marion Agnes MichaudCamarilloMarion Agnes Michaud passed peacefully on August 18, 2017, with her six children comforting her in her final days.Marion was born on June 7th, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the fourth child and eldest daughter of Edward and Scedena Weller. Marion and Knox were married in 1953 and raised their six children in Oxnard California. Mom kept the kids and household in order, while Dad was abroad working as a civil servant.Once the youngest children were in school, mom worked with Visiting Nurse Association, attended Oxnard College and was later employed as a Secretary for 15 years at the Port Hueneme CBC base.She was preceded in death by her husband Knox, parents Edward and Scedena, siblings George, Howard, Robert, and Donald, and grandchild Garret.She is survived by her children Knox (Nelly), Colette (Ted), Carrie (Jeff), Ed, Rose (Jay), and Scedena (Oscar); grandchildren Caresse (Juani), Christopher, Hanna, Sam, Matthew, Natalie, Eddie, Brandon, Cali, Jase, Cassie, Raymond (Nicole), Jonathan, and Gabriel; great grandchildren Sabastain, Aiden, Regan and Rilea. Her surviving siblings include Theresa, Adeline, Elizabeth, John, Edward, Mike and Bill.She will be missed but never forgotten. A Memorial Mass was held at Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo at 10am on Monday August 21. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local hospice agency.
