    On December 5, 2024,the world lost a remarkable soul in Mario Lara. Born on June 8,1951 Manhattan NY, Mario was the beloved child of Victor and Shirley (Cummings) Lara. He leaves behind siblings, Carmen Lara Poughkeepsie NY, Denise Lara Utica NY, Noreen (Lara) Stinson Poughkeepsie NY, and Micheal (deceased). He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his four children, Janene , Mario Jr , Nichole and Lateshia. He also left behind 11 Grandkids and two great grandkids who love him dearly. During his time on Earth, Mario touched the heart of many, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered. He attended Poughkeepsie High School and spent many years working on the railroad in Poughkeepsie, New York. In his free time, Mario enjoyed indulging in his hobbies. He had a passion for fishing, finding solace and joy in the peaceful waters. Mario also loved to challenge his mind with video games and experiment in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for his loved ones. Although Mario is no longer with us, his memory will live on through the hearts of those he touched. H will be remembered for his unwavering love and hi zest for life and never met a stranger. Rest in peace, Mario Lara. Your presence will be missed. (John 5:28 ) Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming you will hear his voice.
