It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Jenkins, who was born on October 6, 1960, in Madison, Mississippi, United States. Marilyn passed away on September 29, 2024.

Marilyn was the beloved daughter of Tony and Jacquelyn Brown. She leaves behind her loving partner, Willie James Jenkins, and their two children, Tracey Jenkins (spouse Kativia Jenkins) and Shanneka Jenkins Blackshear (spouse Alfred Blackshear). Marilyn was also a cherished grandmother to three grandchildren, Quontavious Jenkins (father Tracey Jenkins), Anthony and Kanijah Blackshear (mother Shanneka Jenkins Blackshear).

Marilyn graduated from Callaway High School in 1977 and went on to make a difference in the community through her work with shelters. She was dedicated to helping those in need and touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

Aside from her work, Marilyn enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Although Marilyn is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
