Marilyn G. MaceONTARIO: Marilyn G. Mace, 84, of Ontario passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. She was the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Kinstle) Harris. Marilyn was born on July 12, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio.Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished times with her family. A determined and selfless women, always caring for and thinking of others before herself, was a generous and wonderful caregiver. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Peter's High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting , and cross stitch. Traveling was an enjoyment for her as was boating on Lake Eric and beyond in their boat, DanCin Pam. She will be dearly missed.Left to cherish many fond memories of Marilyn are her husband of 63 years, Harvey Mace of Ontario; her two daughters, Cindy (Dave) Obergefell of Port Clinton, and Pam (Dave) Stiving of Ontario; her son, Dan (Lisa) Mace of Bellville; seven grandchildren, Sarah (Bill) Withers of Delaware, Jon Obergefell of Fort Wayne, IN, Jennifer (Aaron) Frazee of McCutchenville, OH, Scott Stiving of Toledo, Jessica Mace of Indianapolis, Daniel Mace of Bellville and Olivia Mace of Bellville; six great-grandchildren, Maddie and Lily Zemanek, Liam and Mia Withers, and Lyla and Bo Frazee; numerous cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, George (Katherin) Mace.A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10-11 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A memorial service will follow at 11am officiated by Deacon Dennis Striker. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery Columbarium.
