Huffman, Marilyn Joyce (Cusic) Marilyn was born on October 16th, 1931 in Topeka, Kansas to Charles W. and Edith (Marsh) Cusic. She was raised on the Cusic Family Farm located east of Topeka on 29th Street. She is survived by her younger brother Larry Cusic of Manhattan, Kansas, two daughters, Linda Huffman of Mountain Home, Idaho and Carol Johnson of Chandler, AZ, one son, Doug Huffman of Pelican, Alaska and four grandchildren; Sarah Snyder and James Snyder of Tacoma, Washington, Matthew and Jenna Johnson of Chandler, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her son Michael Huffman, her parents Charlie and Edith Cusic and her sisters; Charlene Bacon and Patricia Heid. Marilyn's family and church were of first priority in her life. She loved volunteering with her children's school, church and scout activities. She was active in her church, volunteering many hours over the years as teacher, clerical worker and various women's ministries positions and as a volunteer driver for Meals-On-Wheels. In Payson, she volunteered at the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center from 1994 until 1998. Marilyn was always grateful for the blessings from God in her life and his guiding her footsteps through the years. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 2nd, 2017 at 11:00am: Messinger Indian School Mortuary 7601 E. Indian School Road Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
