Marietta was a loving mother to Joseph Jr and Markiesha, and a doting grandmother to her two grandchildren. She had a passion for hosting karaoke nights at her house every Saturday, bringing joy and laughter to her friends and family.

In her free time, Marietta enjoyed writing poetry and songs, often collaborating with her grandchildren whom she adored, Plad and Julian Jackson.
