Marie Rose Lee, 96, passed on March 09, 2023. She was born to Carlton Lee and Rosa in Harlem, New York on September 15, 1926.

She married Winston in 1948 and they lived together in Harlem, New York. Together they raised 5 children Toni Lee-Anderson (Robert Anderson), Rolando Lee (Cheryl Lee), Diane Thompson (Thomas Thompson), Althea Lee-Slaugter (Clyde Slaughter), Winston Jr . She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Marie worked at seamstress until she retired in 2000 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Marie ultimately loss her battle with lung cancer on March 09, 2023 surrounded by her children.
