In loving memory of Marie E. Gundesen who passed away on October 19, 2016 with good friends by her side. Marie was born on September 17, 1926 in Colome, South Dakota. She attended nursing school in Kansas City and worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at the V.A. Hospital, 18 years as head nurse in the surgical unit. Marie loved animals and enjoyed many years of working with horses. Her quick wit and sense of humor provided much joy and laughter for those around her.
