Marie "Sandy" Stambaugh, 65, of Bonneauville, Pennsylvania, passed on February 02, 2022. Sandy was born on May 13, 1956 to parents Michael Lingg and Teresa Krietz Lingg in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her loving husband Kerm, her children Sterling "Rick" Stambaugh, David Stambaugh, Tim Stambaugh, Michelle "Shelly" Stambaugh, Amanda "Mandy" Brent, Michael Stambaugh and Sam Stambaugh, her sisters Mickey Lingg and Linda Shaffer, her sister-in-law Sandy Crawford and numerous grandchildren: Kiersten, Lucas, Jacob, Hannah, Lexi, Zoe, Owen, Ian, Caleb, Rylan, and Piper (coming spring 2022) and her great grandchildren Scarlett and Mazie. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Sharon "Sherry" Looney, her son Kermit "Junior" Stambaugh, and her grandson Justin Stambaugh.

Sandy was a very loving woman. She cared deeply about her children, always putting them first, even if they weren't her biological children. She never turned anyone away from her table and if you tried to leave without eating you got "the eyes." She was never one to shy away from spoiling a grandchild, even when she was told not to. Even though she didn't want another dog, she couldn't help but love Dusty and Gypsy, her “uggie baby.”

There will always be a hole left in the hearts of the ones who loved her and her laugh will echo in our hearts and minds.

A memorial honoring Sandy's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, "just do your best, it's important."
