Maria C. SilvaHELENA: Maria C. Silva, 83, of Helena, OH passed away at her home on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born on October 16, 1933 in Laredo, TX, the daughter of Viviano and Delfina (Obregon) Castillo. Maria married Emede Silva on August 2, 1958 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont and he survives. She worked at Tony's Bakery for five years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Guadalupe Society in Gibsonburg, OH. Maria enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.Maria is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Emede Silva, Helena, OH; Linda (David) Rathbun, Monroeville, OH, Emede Viviano Silva, Jr., Helena, George Silva, Helena, OH; siblings, Delfina Trevino, Fremont, OH, Michael Castillo of Temperance, MI, Petra Castillo, Laredo, TX, Margaret Benavidez, Fremont, OH, Alice Gladden of Alabama; grandchildren, Anna (Rollie) Drown, Rachael, Brittany and Michael Rathbun and great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody and Katelyn Drown.She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deanna Silva; sister, Juanita Robles; brothers, Bernardo Castillo and Jesus Castillo.Visitation: Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E.
